It's Open!

The time will come
When, with elation,
You will greet yourself arriving
At your own door,..... Love After Love by Derek Walcott

..... There's a new foot on the floor, my friend,
And a new face at the door, my friend,
And a new face at the door. The Death Of The Old Year by Alfred Tennyson

So, when one door closes, another one opens. IT'S OPEN! Today, January 1, 2011 is the first day of the NEW YEAR and the door stands open wide for you. No matter what has happened last year, last night, even up to a second ago -- you're HERE, NOW, and that means you can step in, and greet yourself to the new you!

It's scary to let go of the old year, isn't it. Even if it was a rot year, it was a year you KNEW and you seemed to get through it. Tennyson took a whole long poem before he arrived at his exciting new door. It was tough for him to say good-bye to the old year. But it died and was gone and he either would die with it or step a new foot onto the floor and greet a new face. Walcott affirms that you will assuredly greet yourself with elation as you walk in, with a true heartfelt love. You will, no doubt radiate that love, too.

So, go ahead. Wave good-bye to 2010. You knew it, you loved it and all it had -- happy or sad, but's it's gone.

Step in to 2011. It's a new day and alot unknown on this side of time, but the door is WIDE open..... with hope, with possibilities, and with all that you are looking for to make it a happy, great year!

Love after love is the best!
